The participatory process for the Strategic Plan begins

The Strategic Plan Committee has agreed to set the university community participation stage in motion

The UIB Strategic Plan involves conceiving the UIB of the future and defining real means to achieve it. It is made up of a series of pillars, goals, actions and indicators, as well as the UIB mission, vision and values—but, most importantly, it has the will of the community at its core. The design of the strategic plan is participatory, and so the involvement of the entire community is key to ensuring its success.

The mechanisms through which community members are involved in the development of the plan are as follows:

  • Participation of the legal representatives of lecturers, students and administrative and services staff in the committee and in the four working groups (teaching, research, transfer and culture, and management)
  • Participatory survey for the entire university community
  • Suggestion box
  • Public display of the Strategic Plan document prior to its approval.

The participatory survey has been published today and is available in three language versions: Catalan, Spanish and English. We hope that nearly all community members will take part.
