Production of a strategic plan for the 2023-27 period agreed

The ordinary meeting of the Governing Council on 15th June 2022 agreed on the production of a strategic plan for the 2023-27 period. A committee was appointed with members representing all stakeholders:

  • Executive Council
  • Directorate General for Universities
  • Social Council
  • Undergraduate Centres
  • Postgraduate Centres
  • Departments
  • Research Institutes
  • Students
  • Admin and Services Staff
  • Academic Staff

The committee is charged with producing a participatory strategic plan with realistic goals to be attained over the 2023-27 period.

The Vice Chancellor issued a resolution on the same day, appointing the following 17 committee members:

  • Vice Chancellor, as chair: Dr Jaume Carot
  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Policy and Research: Dr Victor Homar
  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Teaching and Research Staff: Dr Antoni Bordoy
  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Innovation and Digital Transformation: Dr Lorenza Carrasco
  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Strategic Planning, Internationalisation and Cooperation: Dr Marcos Nadal
  • Head of Administration: Ms Consolación Hernández
  • General Director for Universities: Mr Josep Lluís Pons
  • A representative from the Social Council: Dr Francesca Garcias
  • A representative from the undergraduate centres: Dr Dolores Tirado
  • A representative from the postgraduate centres: Dr Neus Piña
  • Two head of department representatives:
    • Dr M. Teresa Adame
    • Dr Gemma Isabel Turnes
  • A representative from the university research institutes: Dr Eva Aguilar
  • A student representative: Mr Guillem Coll
  • An admin and services staff representative: Mr Enrique Llompart
  • A teaching and research staff representative: Dr Guillem Pons
